great for fender hot rod deville (11.24.2009) Reviewer: Johnnny D (Los Angeles, CA) I replaced the stock Eminence speakers in the HRD with these and the amp was completely transformed. The clean channel, which was dull and lifeless before, now has the Fender brightness and sheen without losing the warmth. The bottom end is tight and punchy and the amp has more headroom now. The tone controls actually work now! These things are a great value. They may be a little harsh compared to the P10Q alnicos but at $60 less per speaker I can live with it.
